Homework Overview:
Reading- Students have Word Practice for the sight words for and of. Please work with your child to write a sentence using each word. Have your child tell their sentence to you, and then help them to sound out the words they need to write. Refrain from spelling words for your child, they need practice sounding words out and writing all the sounds they hear.
-Continue to have your child read/read to your child nightly. After reading, see if your child can tell what happened in the book without looking at it.
-Continue to work on letter names and sounds, if needed.
Sight Words: for, of, that
Math- On Tuesday we reviewing using a Number Line to hop more and less. Please have students complete math sheet reviewing this skill.
When students are counting the balloons on the second sheet, have students mark each balloon as they count it, and count twice to double check their work.
