Reading- For reading this week I have sent home books or assignments according to your child's reading level:
Letterland book "Is the Hat on the Cat"- Please read the letterland book with your child. Students should be able to read the book independently after a few practice reads. Students can color the book, underline or highlight words that they need to practice, etc. Please return the book on Friday as I would like to read the book as a group.
Bees Feed Me (Level D)- Please have your child read the book, prompting them to use their reading strategies to figure our tricky words when needed. Also, have your child retell all the facts they learned when reading the book. This book might be a little tricky for some students...but this book is at the level that students are expected to be able to read by the end of the year.
Raz Kids Assignment- Students with a written response sheet will be reading the book "Animal Dads". Directions for finishing this assignment were sent in homework folders last week.
Sight Words- these, any, out
Math- Please complete the math homework sheet, and play the math homework game with your child to practice their subtraction facts.
